Today, compliance is more complex than ever. In the global environment, the legal challenges are constantly growing. That is why we constantly adapt our processes and systems to the legal framework. To emphasize the importance of legal compliance, we have established it as a corporate principle: “We comply with applicable law and internal guidelines. Compliance is therefore a living part of our corporate culture. We operate a compliance management system that enables you as a customer, business partner or employee of the company to act in accordance with uniform and binding structures.
In order to ensure that our corporate principles are observed, it is important to identify potential misconduct at an early stage. We achieve this by, among other things, reporting any indications of possible compliance violations. A compliance violation exists if our employees in Germany or abroad violate applicable law or internal guidelines in the performance of their official duties. Such violations include, for example, corruption, competition and antitrust violations, data protection violations, and offences in the areas of accounting, finance and tax. We rely on our employees, customers and business partners to uncover and prevent compliance violations. If you notice any signs of a compliance violation, you can report it through various channels. Regardless of which route you choose, we assure you that every report will be treated in strict confidence – anonymously if you wish.

Online registration system
We have set up an online reporting system as an additional way of reporting indications of compliance violations. All incoming reports are processed by the compliance officer.

Attorney of confidence
Dr. Margarete von Galen, our external lawyer of confidence, is at your disposal. You can contact her at any time with information on company and employment-related criminal offences or administrative offences. Attorney von Galen will carefully examine your information and forward it to the Compliance Officer if there are concrete indications of a compliance violation. As an external lawyer of confidence, von Galen Attorney-at-Law is bound to secrecy. She only passes on your personal data to us with your express consent.

We examine all indications of compliance violations carefully and confidentially and punish proven misconduct consistently and appropriately. Please note that reports without compliance reference will not be processed.
