What is RFID?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

RFID stands for Radio-Frequency Identification. It is a method to automatically identify objects via radio waves. This technology uses radio waves to transmit information between a transponder and a reader. The transponder contains a microchip and an antenna, which sends data via radio waves to the reader. The reader picks up the signal and processes the data.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Transparent data management<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Using RFID-Technology, each PreTurn pallet can be located and tracked. This enhances data transparency across the entire pallet pool, resulting in significant cost savings.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Single and bulk tracking<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The system is being complemented by various stationary solutions, that allow identification of the pallets, e.g. on the loading platform of a truck. Up to 990 load carriers can be registered per truck pass.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Digitally and precisely recordable<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In order to register the pallets automatically on a conveyor system or upon passing a truck gate, all pallets are equipped with the same tagging. There are two RFID chips inserted into the blocks diagonally opposite each other. Placing the transponders diagonally across from each other allows for the highest possible traceability.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

High-quality hardware with GRAI standard<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The transponders are based on a dogbone inlay with a chip that features a 128-bit EPC memory and a 32-bit user memory. The data on the chip is encoded according to GS1 standard GRAI (Global Returnable Asset Identifier), which was developed for the identification of returnable load carriers to support administration, processing, and tracking. The transponders attached to all pallets are encoded identically.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
